Hey transformation contestants,
Just wanted to wish you all the best.
My name is Elaine and wanted to share some of the food changes I have implemented.
I am trying to go for one ingredient foods, organic, 100% natural
Steel cut oats. Better than regular oatmeal, but it takes about 1/2 hour to cook. I just
make a big batch and reheat.
All natural plain yogurt, mixed with blueberry and pomegranate trail mix.
All natural peanut butter, with celery sticks.
All natural almond butter on 100% w…

I'm extremely excited about this upcoming transformation contest, I feel that this will motivate me to get the body I want. Have you ever out eaten exercise? It’s super easy to do. You know that you need to exercise, not just if you are trying to lose weight, but for all the health benefits too. But exercise is only a small part of the equation.
Some people have the mindset that if they workout for an hour that day, they can later treat themselves to something that tastes good. And usually we’re talking about something that tastes good and isn’t good for you. This mindset is totally wrong. Exercise for an hour = bur…

It’s been getting worse every year. Father’s Day is right around the corner. I’m not saying the actual day is bad. I’m saying your dad is getting worse every year. And not necessarily your dad, but in general. And mom’s and women need to pay attention too!
There is something called metabolic syndrome X floating around. It’s a scary condition. I had only heard about it up until now. So I decided to do a little more research on the subject.
I found some good information on the American Heart Ass…

An important factor that should be considered in burning body fat is alcohol. Acohol contains calories. With regards to fat, only a small, single-digit, percentage of alcohol is converted to fat. The downside of alcohol though is it lessens the fat that your body cou…

Hi Everyone,
I just started attending the morning bootcamp M,W,F at 0700. I enjoyed my first day and look forward to them. I like the style of workout so far. My fitness activity started decreasing right after I separated from the military in 2006. I like so many others feel like I don't have anytime to workout or most programs don't start early enough as to not interfere with work and college schedules. Jason's bootcamp hours are perfect for those reasons alone. I recently moved to the Columbus…

I kinda feel like Oprah...minus the money. For crying out loud, I used to be a runway model in Cleveland and took great pride in my appearance. I worked out twice a day, monitored my eating habits and as a result I looked pretty darn good. Well add a few years and a few 9 or 10 pound babies and WOW. It did not help matters that I was completely delusional. I honestly believed that I gained 50lbs in less than a year. Looking back I realized it was the little lies I told myself and then began to a…
